Hello All. I have a question for you. First, I by no means am a math person beyond basic stuff. I do however use one calcualtion at work that sometimes needs to be done quickly. There are two variales and the rest is basic division, subtraction and multiplication. I was wondering if I could use a calculator to simple imput the two variables to compute the calculation alot quicker. Thanks.
If all you need is division, subtraction, multiplication, addition, and variables, then probably any of the scientific calculators here would work well (with a few extra features that you may not need).
However, note that with a graphing calculator, you will be able to write a program to perform the calculations you need to do automatically. Doing the same with a scientific calculator would be repetitive. However, remember that by no means is a graphing calculator required; a scientific one would easily suffice. There are, however, perfectly functional and cheap graphing calculators that you can pick up on Ebay--I would recommend a TI-83, TI-85, or TI-86, which you can get much cheaper prices than newer models if you decide to go on this route.
