here's the first demo of my new game doom89! check it out, tell me what i need to add/change any bugs and what you think, hate mail is accepted.
this is for the 68k series and requires the fat engine, which is included in the zip file.

ehh, bout a week and a half i'd say, from the beginning setup stuff to where i am now. the graphics took the longest i'd say.
I *finally* got around to downloading it. It's awesome, except I seem to be unable to open doors.

you're probably just not pressing the right buttons.

umm what calc/hardware are you using?
have you tried any other buttons?

P.S. i'll add a newer demo soon, once i get some more level loading/saving problems worked out. so dont worry if this doesnt work like it should.
I'm using a TI-89 Titanium hardware 3. AMS 3.10. It actually seems that some doors work, but others don't. Maybe what I was trying to open before wasn't a door.
I'm guessing that because this is a demo, I can't die - I have -260 health at the moment.

haha yea it's a demo. and yes you cant die. Oh your problem is that you didnt find the keys, they are in the first little alcove near the first door in the first level. i'm guessing that you couldnt open the doors on the first level?
